About the Webmistress!

Salutations dear visitor, I am Nori
You may also call me Nono ✦
I'm a part-time lolita and full-time fangirl— I'm unapologetic, cringe, and free! I love reading stories of all genres and creating original stories of my own~

I'm mostly a consumer rather than a producer, though I dabble in art and writing occasionaly; sometimes you have to make your own food!
I primarily create OC content and sometimes fanworks for long-time interests (e.g rarepairs, selfship)
I keep to myself mostly and prefer to spectate from afar, though I'm happy to interact with others who share the same interests as me!

I'm very passionate about my interests and have zero tolerance for irony poisoned individuals.
You suck and lack whimsy in your life.

If you're not a fake fangirl and are truly passionate about what you love, I respect you and cheer you on! I hope you have a wonderful day and best wishes to your fangirl endavours, whatever they may be ♥

What is JUNKUMORI?

The short answer:
Two words I mashed together on a whim because it sounded cool.

The cooler answer:
"Junku" being a cutesy way of saying the verb junk, which just about sums up the purpose of this site— a place to dump all my fandom rambles and interests. Though I certainly don't view it as such, for one girl's cringe is another fangirl's treasure!
"Mori" meaning death! ..A bit grim isn't it? Though I find it a fitting word to describe my fandom predicament. Modern fandom/social media is dead to me and its what motivated me to create a place of my own where I don't have to conform to silly alogrithms and internet strangers.

And there you have it! The origins of how my beloved webpage "JUNKUMORI" came to be!

WEBSITE Q&A

How did you learn to code?
I used freecodecamp to practice web creation and sites such as Mozilla and w3school for coding guidance and help. Otherwise its mostly just ramming my head against the code until it works.
Best of luck on your coding journey!

Can I use your website code?
I would prefer not, but you're welcome to use my site as reference for layouts/coding. I strongly advise against directly copying my code as I have not written it optimally and to put it blunt, its all spaghetti code. You will have a much easier time starting from scratch, it will save you the headache trust me.

Why no mobile compatibility?
Because I'm lazy and do not use a cellphone. Im adverse to using them and I would rather not invest time in a feature that I do not see myself using. This site was made for my personal use and comfort first and foremost.

Where can I find you?
You can visit my sister site velvetlori for general fashion and irl blogging! If you plan on giving a vist I kindly request you do not mention this site in the guestbook, for velvetlori is intended for a general audience. Otherwise I do not use social media and have no plans on doing so in the future.
Any account with my alias is not me!

Where can I contact you?
You can send an e-mail or leave a comment in my guestbook!
Please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or just wish to chat!

Can you help me with coding?
